Pavel Truhlář was born in 1969 in Pacov, South Bohemia (Czech Republic). He is a puppet-maker and puppeteer, specializing in wooden carved puppets. He has been making and performing marionettes for the last twenty eight years. He has his own puppet ensemble Teatro Truhla with whom he travels all over the world and gives performances. He is the founder of Marionety Truhlar company based in Prague since 1993. They provide several different types of workshops for adults and kids in their studio location, possibly giving classes in client´s home base. They put up marionette exhibitions. They work on different projects in the country as well as abroad.
