Salomé Mooij

Salomé Mooij, born in 1990 in The Hague (The Netherlands), studied philosophy at the university of Ghent and theatre directing at the theatre academy RITCS in Brussels, where she graduated in 2018. After her graduation she toured in Belgium with the work of her collective Dividu, and in Europe with Lotte van den Berg. Currently she works as a theatre maker and performer. In the following years she will work on places of shelter in the city and be supported by the performance platform SOAP (Maastricht), De Brakke Grond (Amsterdam), C-Takt (Neerpelt) and METROPOLIS (Kopenhagen). She performs in Lotte van den Berg’s performance Dying Together.

In 2019, she did a residency at Metropolis in Copenhagen (DK) and in 2020 she co-curated Mapping the City, one of three Metropolis Residency programmes that happenned in summer 2020.
