PLATFORM 2025 - 2028 2027 creations
Theatre company based in Barcelona since 2011. We met at the theatre school where we studied dramatic theatre, and very soon we started to be interested in our own creations. We have been premiering works since then in different contexts like theaters and festivals. Every new work starts from a different point of view, and most of the time we try to work from the opposite of our previous work. We don't make a difference between text, sound, or visual theater; for us, everything is the same: live arts. Usually our works appear in the rehearsal space rather than in our minds, and we are not exactly sure of what that means, but we avoid a more rational, intellectual, or thematic approach.
The national runway is a live arts project that seeks to transfer the imaginary of fashion runways into a theatrical context. Its objective is to investigate new forms of scenic representation in which costume becomes the main guiding thread, and to use costume—and its presentation in a runway format—as a means to engage in dialogue with contemporary realities. Through this dialogue, the project aims to address three major, interrelated axes: the dictatorship of trends, class differences, and the military drift in Europe in the twenty-first century.
