An agora initiating social impact and cultivating human value
A stage revealing the sublime of artistic creation
in intercultural cooperations to bring our convictions to life through field actions.
Today, artistic creation in public space has reached a stage of relative structuration, with a good visibility and a rising interest.
However, locally, partners experience the changes of European societies (populism, social cohesion, climate change) on a daily basis. They felt an urge to take a step forward to reinvent their relationship with the people and the civil society, believing that art must be at the forefront to offer new perspectives.
IN SITU aims at reinforcing the rise of the sector by experimenting new ways to connect artists and civil society through a 360° model intended to be sustainable, making art be part of this vital transformation of society.
After many years of work, IN SITU wants to reinvent the relationship between art and civil society, focusing on:
· Strengthening in-depth relationships between artists and inhabitants
· Experimenting innovative ways to connect with audiences and address societal challenges
· Representing the richness of cultural and social differences within Europe
· Regenerating public space through artistic creation
· Promoting transnational mobility of works and artists dedicated to public space

IN SITU Coordinator
She/her
+Specialized in the management of cultural initiatives, I started working in the field of international cooperation 6 years ago. During my previous experiences I coordinated networks and monitored cultural projects ranging from programs against illicit traffic in cultural goods to rehabilitation of museums and safeguarding intangible heritage. Today, I am thrilled to dedicate my energy and skills to living arts in the public space. Culture has always been at the heart of both my personal and professional lives. I am deeply convinced that renewing our vision of the space we live in is a necessary and exciting challenge of today’s society.

+After 7 years of training, between university courses and European exchange programs, I joined the Lieux publics team. These last years spent between Lyon, Saint- Etienne, and the Balkans, have sharpened my curiosity, developed my attraction for arts, cultures and languages, and led me to wonder about our relationship with spaces, their use, their perception and appropriation by inhabitants, artists and nature. This is how I arrived in Marseille, a city that I am still discovering and that never stops surprising me. I then joined the IN SITU program, through which I integrate and coordinate a network of partners, artists and citizens throughout Europe around themes that fascinate me.

+It took 9 years spent building communication strategies in agencies and on the media side for me to finally put my experience to good use in artistic creation. Eager to meet new people and discover new things, I couldn't have done better than at IN SITU, where I help coordinate and promote a network of artists and partners as talented as they are varied. Sailing between Marseille and Montreal since my childhood, I am (re)discovering in Europe an exciting territory with infinite possibilities.

+In the continuity of my dual trajectory in international cooperation and performing arts between Paris and Amsterdam, I am thrilled to join the coordination team of the IN SITU network. In the past years, I worked on the implementation of large-scale programmes promoting participatory governance for culture at UNESCO. Both creative and down to earth, I enjoy collaborating with partners from diverse nationalities and will apply a pragmatic and human-centered approach to support the network’s activities. As I was particularly interested in creative mobilizations of public space during my master in cultural analysis, I look forward to work closely with key partners in this field across Europe to advance artistic practice as the beating heart of our communities..

+After being part of several theatre-related European projects in Paris, I decided to sharpen the skills I had learned by pursuing a career combining management, art, and international cooperation. IN SITU is a perfect example of how to mix all three, and I am excited to improve my administrative and coordination skills while witnessing the artistic projects of an inspiring network. As an apprentice, I'm balancing my experience at IN SITU with a master's degree in cultural management. This dynamic allows me to transition between the concrete aspects of projects and the general theory.
