PLATFORM 2025-2028
The call aims at identifying emerging artists. To be considered “emerging”, artists should fulfil two of the following angles:
Aesthetic emergence: innovative creative forms for presentations in public space.
Geographical emergence: local talents at the European level which means artists who never toured internationally as well as artists from European countries where art in public space is not strongly supported and recognised.
Generational emergence: a new generation of artists working in public space.
In the application, artists can explain their reasons for considering themselves as emerging. If a case arises where an artist is already working in public space but meets the criteria for being considered emerging in two other aspects, they should proceed with the application.
As a European network, the selection process will be carried out by partners from all over Europe, speaking various languages. To allow equal application reviews and to ensure clarity and consistency, we ask all applicants to submit their applications and documents in English. However, we wish to be as accessible as possible so if there are portions of your documents that are not translated, we are open to accepting them, provided that they do not hinder understanding.
Please note that if you are selected, English will be the working language and translation services are not available at the moment, so a basic level of English is required.
This open call is for artistic proposals in development : that have not yet premiered or toured, but are further progressed than the ideas stage. As an indication, the call aims at identifying projects that would be presented to an audience around Summer 2027.
