RefugeeOrigamiCamp

© Adrien Bargin

RefugeeOrigamiCamp is a collaborative action, in which legal and illegal refugees build fullscale houses made of paper in the city using origami techniques. The camp is designed to create a place for sharing and discussion. It confronts the citizens of Europe with this urgent question - what place do we want to give refugees in our
societies, in the fortress of Europe, and how can different ethnic groups live alongside one another?

A RefugeeOrigamiCamp was build in Detmold, Germany in the frame of Detmold Bildstörung Festival organised by IN SITU platform partner Stadt Detmold (Detmold City).
