What is the role of performing art in building an ecological culture? How the emergence of new art formats connected to nature helps to change perspectives and shape positive change among local inhabitants? How to « use » art to educate, spread a message and raise awareness without instrumentalizing artists? And how create positive values and move away from guilt and towards a more proactive stance?

The IN SITU podcast is an action of the IN SITU the European platform for artistic creation in public space, in the frame of the project (UN)COMMON SPACES, cofunded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union."

IN SITU is the European platform for artistic creation in public space. It is led by Lieux publics, European and national centre for artistic creation in public space, located in Marseille (FR). Since 2003, it has supported around 300 artists and brings together 18 partners from 13 countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. IN SITU also gathers 13 associate partners from Belgium, France and 9 additional countries: China, Finland, Germany, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovakia, South Korea, Sri Lanka and Taiwan. The project (UN)COMMON SPACES 2020 – 2024 is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. IN SITU Podcast

International Festival of Street Art, Puppet Theatre, Contemporary Circus and Community Art in Graz. The La Strada festival takes place at the beginning of August for a period of nine days since 1998. It creates an interplay between the city, artists and audiences.

Metropolis is a meeting point for performance, art, the city and the landscape – an art-based laboratory for the performative, site-specific, international art. It is Københavns Internationale Teater (KIT) that is behind Metropolis as the latest of a large number of festivals and projects in Copenhagen created and initiated by KIT.
